The advantages to classroom training include:

  • It allows you to teach employees in a safe, quiet, clean environment, away from the noise and pressures of the work area.
  • Training group sizes can be customized to meet the needs of the group. (limit 12 people per lesson)
  • The classroom environment provides the important “human touch and connection,” that can enhance learning. Employees learn from one another as well as from the trainer.

The advantages to virtual training include:

  • You do not have to pull employees off the job, which cuts into work time and production schedules. (limit 12 people per lesson)
  • Virtual learning is accessible to anyone who has a computer, tablet, or smartphone.
  • Participants can attend an online course from any location where a Wi-Fi signal is available.
  • Virtual learning can usually take place at a time that is convenient for the student. There is no longer any need to be in a classroom at a specific time on a specific day.

Mental Muscle Memory Training

There are many examples how muscle memory learning is effective in teaching variety of subjects. Whether musicians or martial arts champions, mastery of a skill requires a sequence of repetitive movements that achieve a desired result. This works by taking basic routine movements at a simple and slowed pace in the beginning and then increasing to more advanced techniques over time.

Using this method, participants will use different stimulating visual or audio sources to activate an emotional response, identify the emotion, the physical reaction, and practice self-de-escalation. Training this way in a controlled and safe environment over time works to develop mental muscle memory to help participants recognize their emotional triggers, apply self-de-escalation techniques, and have a rational or trained response, even in the most tense and stressful critical conditions.
